The Company is offering great business career opportunities in a global and international environment. We are looking for an ambitious Student (m/f) supporting our business who is interested in doing an Internship on Small Country Audit Risk Control Matrix & Audit Program structure.
Project Description:
The Dow Chemical Company (Dow) operates in various countries around the world.  Not every country has a similar presence in respect to Dow’s business processes / functions.  Countries that have limited presence are considered “Small Country Operations”.  The Internal Audit risk based approach requires a good understanding of what key risks and controls (control activities) would need to be tested.  Once those activities have been established, the intent is to automate the testing of these controls by means of Continuous Control Monitoring, so both Management as well as Internal Audit can react to anomalies in the data / trend.
The project would entail collaborating with our global Internal Audit organization’s business process experts (to obtain the key risk/control information), Dow’s global work process experts to understand what data could be used to monitor the controls and our Internal Audit Data Analytic team to develop and implement these continuous control monitoring solutions.
