Finance Internship: Customer Financial Services

Customer Financial Services (CFS) is part of Dow's Global Treasury organization. CFS takes the leading role in managing the company's multi-billion dollar investment in accounts receivable. Responsibilities include analyzing financial risk, setting credit limits and payment terms, monitoring the business account receivable portfolio and customer account status.
The international CFS group located in Horgen, Switzerland is looking for a student intern to support the credit team responsible for the customer portfolio in the geography Benelux, the United Kingdom, Nordic countries and France.
The role will require the evaluation of customer credit risk at a corporate and individual level by applying a credit scoring model and following internal policies and procedures. A firm understanding of financial statement analysis, including key financial ratios and comparison analysis, will be acquired. Recommendations will be made to the responsible credit manager, at times also to the CFS Director, for approval and implementation based on this analysis, balancing risk and return in the recommendation.
We seek out candidates, whose internship is a mandatory requirement for the completion of a Master’s degree in Finance or a related field.
- You are studying for a Masters degree in Finance or Accountancy.
- You have a good working knowledge of English. Ideally you also have knowledge of French at B2 or higher level.
- Microsoft and SAP knowledge will be an advantage.
- Team player who is self-motivated, organized and possesses strong presentation skills
