Flexfinder is Philips' contingent worker (time hire) program, managed by the IMS Procurement HR Services commodity group. Flexfinder enables Philips to increase their access to the best temporary talent within the shortest possible timeframe, against minimum risks and the lowest possible cost.
In order to ensure that all relevant Flexfinder stakeholders are - and stay - well informed about the program, clear and consistent communication is essential. To support this, we are looking for a self-driven, enthusiastic and passionate communication student to help us achieve our goals to keep well aligned with our stakeholders. The intern will operationally report to the Flexfinder program owner and will be functionally supported by the Procurement manager responsible for communication.


There is a basic communication plan available, providing the framework for the follow-up communication activities. The intern / communication student we are looking for will be responsible for the following deliverables:

- Fine-tune the communication plan (Stakeholder groups - key messages - channels - planning)
- Create communication material (Draft the relevant communication materials, to be reviewed by the Flexfinder owner)
- Support in setting-up and conducting the relevant communication activities 
- Define a communication maintenance/governance approach
- Propose how to measure customer satisfaction / NPS 

The duration of the assignment is 3-4 months, starting as soon as possible


You will be a member of the HR Services team within Philips Procurement-IMS (Indirect Material & Services). We are responsible to manage the spend and the suppliers related to HR commodities (such Time Hire, Recruitment, Outplacement, Learning & Development, Relocation, Payroll etc.) for all Philips sites worldwide. Our goal is to improve cost and value for these commodities continuously via diverse and innovative set of strategies and tools. Spread in all key Philips sites globally, we interact with all Philips business units and we reach out to the best suppliers in a globalized commodity. We are a dynamic and intercultural team looking for new ideas and new challenges. In this role you will collaborate with the Commodity Manager, Strategic Buyers, Procurement Analysts and Markets. You will also be connecting to the Philips sites, mainly colleagues in procurement and finance for project alignment. 

Philips procurement- IMS is the one Philips provider for indirect material & services (IMS) procurement. Operating as a Shared Service Organization for Philips allows Group procurement to persistently add maximum value to the Philips bottom line. Philips Procurement-IMS delivers a closed loop procurement cycle, covering strategic, tactical as well as transactional sourcing, handling of the  'procure to pay' process, through its outsourced Transactional Shared Service Centers. Philips procurement-IMS is organized along seven plus one Global Commodities.


- Communication Student (final year, BSc), preferably without a thesis-obligation
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluent in English (verbally, written)
- Self-driven, enthusiastic, passionate, team worker
- Eu citizen or studying in the Netherlands. 

Please notice that you will receive an allowance depending on the nature of the internship (at least € 300 per month) and that you are registered  as a student during the whole period of the internship.
