Our 2 year European Graduate Program offers you the chance to work on 2 x 1 year assignments, often in 2 different European countries where you will strengthen your skills and shape your future personally and professionally.
Marketing, Sales and Communications work together to connect the value of Avery Dennison products and solutions to markets, customers, employees and other stakeholders.
In the Commercial stream, you are offered a core curriculum that fosters the development of your commercial skills and techniques that are critical to success in all of Avery Dennison’s businesses. The program prepares you for a successful career in Sales or Marketing by providing the opportunity to learn about our products, industry and customers while simultaneously making valuable contributions to the organization.
Key Job Responsibilities
During the 2 year program, you will have a rotation of 1 year within the Sales functions where you will get the opportunity to build on your commercial skills by working closely with our Customer Service, Sales & Technical Sales Teams and visiting our customers. Another rotation of 1 year will take place in one of our Marketing Teams, focused on Product Management or Marketing Communications.
Avery Dennison will provide you with both on-the-job experience and functional training focused on project management and Enterprise Lean Sigma, products capability, marketing communication and sales methodology but will also focus on personal development and leadership skills. Positions such as Junior Product Manager, Marketing Communication Specialist and Customer Service Lead are some of the potential positions offered immediately after the 2 year program.
We are looking for candidates who are just about to complete – or have recently completed – a Bachelor or Master degree in a commercial subject, e.g. Marketing, International Business, Sales, Business Strategy or equivalent. A maximum of 2 years of professional experience in an international company is a plus.
