For our European Graduate Program - 2017 intake we are looking for (soon to be) graduates to join our Sales & Marketing Program per October 2017.
The European Graduate Program in Sales & Marketing at Avery Dennison is an ideal entry point for graduates to start their career with our 2 year graduate program, offering you the chance to work on two 1-year projects, often in 2 different European countries.
Marketing, Sales and Communications work together to connect the value of Avery Dennison products and solutions to markets, customers, employees and other stakeholders.
In this program, you are offered a core curriculum that fosters the development of your commercial skills and techniques that are critical to success in all of Avery Dennison’s businesses.
The program prepares you for a successful career in Sales or Marketing by providing the opportunity to learn about our products, industry and customers while simultaneously making valuable contributions to the organization
Key Job Responsibilities:
During the 2 year program you will start with a rotation of 1 year in different Sales functions, to give you the opportunity to build on your commercial skills by working in our technical sales teams and by visiting our customers.
Your 2nd rotation of 1 year will take place in one of our Marketing teams, focused on Product Management or Marketing Communications.
During the Graduate Program, Avery Dennison will provide you with both on-the-job experience and you will also receive training on a quarterly basis. This will be either focused on functional training such as Lean and Six Sigma Management or on personal development and personal skills.
We offer an interactive team environment, where your capabilities and skills will be developed to build a strong career foundation.
Positions such as Junior Product Manager, Marketing Communication Specialist and Customer Service Lead are some of the potential positions offered immediately after the 2 year program.
We are looking for candidates who will be completing before October 2017 – or have recently completed - a Bachelor or Master degree in a commercial subject, e.g. Marketing, International Business, Sales, Business Strategy or equivalent.
A maximum of 2 years of professional experience in an international company is a plus.
We are looking for candidates who are highly motivated and creative thinkers. But we’re also looking for people who:
- Have strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Enjoy a varied, fast-moving environment
- Are global team players
- Are willing and flexible to relocate into different projects and locations across Europe during the 2 years program
- Are fluent in English with preferably one additional European language
- Can effectively communicate at all levels of the organization
- For the European Graduate Program EU Citizenship is required.
