Context:The Information Technology (IT) division of ABN AMRO is a dynamic entity with approximately 150 teams working with multiple technology stacks, partners and tools. The teams are located in different countries but mostly concentrated in India. The organization has adopted scrum methodology for its transformation towards an agile organization and is working in making distributed agile work for its software delivery. There has been a recent re-organization which has had some effect of knowledge leakage. The objective of this project is to identify how we can tackle the challenges of ensuring that Knowledge sharing becomes part of the DNA of the organization. Assignment:Primary research question: How to improve knowledge sharing in a multi-vendor agile organization? Primary tasks:1) Qualitative Research - Interview different stakeholders from Value Delivery Blocks such as Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Development Team Members (onsite and offshore) to identify
a. Current best practices in knowledge capturing, sharing and reuse among the Scrum teams.
b. What are the factors contributing (positive or negative) towards knowledge sharing. For example – explicit KPIs, intrinsic motivation of team members, leadership, work overload etc.
c. These factors need to be assessed at organization as well as at an individual level.
2) Quantitative Research includes creation, distribution and analysis of survey questionnaire which is sent to multiple groups within the Organization.

If yes, this internship will be interesting for you. For this assignment you will be working in the ABN AMRO IT Office – Competence & Change team. You will be helping this team to implement knowledge sharing within the fabric of our ABN AMRO IT Organization.
You are at least a WO bachelor graduate student.Your study includes the following subjects: Human Resource Management, Knowledge Management and/or organization behaviour.Preferred skills / knowledge: Familiar with MS Office(excel, ppt etc). Good presentation skills.Ability to facilitate discussions and interviews. Practical knowledge of research methodologies – Qualitative and Quantitative. You've already demonstrated that you can study. Now it's time to work on your career. You will be working within our ABN AMRO IT Office – Competence & Change team. This team is besides the development of our IT employees and change management responsible for knowledge management. We provide the management of IT with valuable information to make their strategic decisions and are responsible for processes, change programs and tooling within our focus areas.

Your compensation will include 600€, laptop, travel expenses, free coffee and interactive knowledge sharing sessions / innovation project presentations / hackatons and more in one of our 3-4 offices.
Internships are mostly fulltime for expected duration of 6 months. However, possible to set for different period, also part time. Upod request can be combined with your Thesis / Research. After successful assignment you might be evaluated for potential permanent position.
